🚀L SIT TUTORIAL🚀
I know for a fact I am not the only slow reader out there so, if you are like me read on and you'll even find extra tips 🙌
L sit is a fantastic strenghtener and a bqse for many other flying poses. It might seem impossible at the moment but here are the steps you can take to master it. 🚀START IN DANDASANA🚀
▶ Sitting, back straight, palms underneath the shoulders, right next to your hips (if needed you can use blocks underneath your palms, for more elevation).
▶ Inhail and lift your hips up. Look up.
▶ Exhail and scoop back. Stop when your hips reach yohr palms, or if possible go further back.
▶ Hold for a second or if possible more, and work on that hold.
🔺If this is easy for you when your hips pass your palms (but not before you are able to scoop them behind), try to find engagement in your belly and lift one leg up. Hold for a second and change and in time work on holding the leg up longer or more doing more repetitions of one leg lifts.
🙌 When this becomes easy, try to scoop your hips even more behind your palms and you will feel the moment when your legs start feeling weightless and you'll become able to lift one and then the other or even both legs at the same time. Work on holding this.
💥Your legs should be closed together and you can even squeeze them together to help you with the hold. 💥 For an extra challenge try keeping your feet hip distance apart 😉
____________________________ .This is not the only/best way to enter this pose. We are all different and you may find it easier to work on this from a different angle. This is the way that showed me best results in learning this, and maybe it will work for you too. Let me know 🙏
