The Etude House Wonder Fun Park series is a winner when it comes to packaging but I was curious as to how those bright bubblegum colours would translate to my face. The photo lighting seems to have played down the candy colours but believe me, I looked like a 15 year old going to Disneyland. 🎀 Wonder Fun Park Color Eyes #01
- I was happy that a majority of the palette is glitter free. The colours weren't highly pigmented and didn't blend as well as I would like, but we got there in the end. 🎀 Wonder Fun Park cheek - who can resist that rainbow?? I was pleasantly surprised that this gave a very subtle peach look as opposed to the bright pink purple that I feared. I used just the purple bit to give a bit of highlight on my cheekbones. This is not highly pigmented so you're going to have to use lots to get a really bright pop of colour. In fact I can barely see it in the photo. I actually think this is something I will keep in my daily pouch as the result won't frighten anyone at work. 🎀 Dear Darling soda lip tint in PK001 Grapefruit Soda - this was super bright when I applied it, not pigment issues here. The tint was surprisingly moist and felt like it had an oil base which makes it glossy and not as drying for the lips as a regular lip tint. Can't lie, I did not like the colour initially, way too bright, but when I wiped off the gloss it left a more natural pink stain that I think would be a good starting point to apply lipstick over. 🎀 Overall impression: If I was younger and less fussy I would love this range but as I'm in my 30s and used to more adult colours and spending lots of money on expensive luxury makeup the formulas cannot compare. I know, I'm a massive wanker. The eyeshadow was my least favorite and I can't see myself using it again. The cheek and lip will get more of a use. Overall, I'm still glad I bought these as just looking at them makes me happy!
