Yes, the idea basically was to run a small stand where l would sell pure water since my school was about to host the NIPOGA competition. Yes, pure water. l didn't have money as at that point; if you remember l told you my account was blinking the red colour.
I tried my best to raise the money but l didn't meet up with the time frame to register and buy a space for my stand. That was how l lost out the opportunity.
I was not happy with what had befallen me as that was a bad start for my business antecedent and also as a student, knowing fully well that I'm from the Eastern part of the country(l just felt like pulling your legs with the eastern part). Now, l ran back to my lonely place where l picked up the idea l couldn't launch based on time finance. This time, l was determined to come up with a better idea to help my situation before it got out of hand. I then had to ask myself these set of questions again: What can l replace money with? Will l keep failing if l don't get the fund for the next idea? So many other questions kept passing through my head. In the cause of brain storming, l slept off. Woke up to a call from a friend who was not a student of my school as at then.
He called to make enquiries about a female friend who had picked my school during her Jamb registration. He called to enquire about the post jamb form. I told him l will get back to him with full details. Immediately, something struck me. Why couldn't l just be the middle man between those who can't travel down to school to make enquiries and carry out the registration for them? At that point l was so excited as this will make me cool cash while l solve students' unnecessary travelling problem.
But do you know what? After two days of running around to see what it will cost me to carry out this business idea of mine, l discovered that it may die the same death the pure water idea suffered, only that this time, l had made up my mind to do all it would take positively to launch it.
