✨no shame ✨ But, even more so now that I actually like my body, who knew underneath all that belly there was a waist line. Let me tell you how amazing this new found self love is, not in the physical sense although I'm not mad at it 😌 but a self love that has allowed me to become a better, stronger and healthier version of myself 🐖 to 😇
Is it hard? Absolutely. Has it taken a lot of time? Depends what you consider a lot of time. Gotta love a good candid picture to remind myself how far I have come in a relatively short amount of TIME.. I know what you're thinking "No Franny, 21 months (the length my weightloss journey so far) isn't a short amount of TIME.. you're crazy, that's basically 2 years.." ya you're right I was thinking the exact same thing until I put it into perspective with the number of MONTHS I have wasted living an extremely unhealthy life style. Let's just say since the age of 16 I knew that I was not making healthy choices, I knew I should exercise and eat right I knew that my weight was a problem.
So for the last 144 months (12 years) I did nothing but continue this endless cycle of unhealthy eating habits and digging my own grave. Ok, so 21 months of hard work to essentially reverse the last 144 months of self sabotage? Unmmm yes, sign me up!!! So, do your own math then ask yourself the same question.. The point is TIME is going to pass wether you decide to start or not, it's an easy question and an easy answer you just have to for once, follow through with what you start. How many times have you started? Could you imagine if you never quit? While I'm extremely proud and grateful for the last 2 years of my life I do dwell on the TIME I wasted. Start now, start today, before it's too late.
