I used Thursday night's burger and fry fuel for some heavy Friday morning lifting 🏋🏻‍♀️ daily moves + a few sets of 80lb squats, 90lb leg press, 60lb hamstring curl, etc. Feeling it today!! I've been delving into a lot of really amazing documentaries, podcasts, books, and other research and I feel a really wonderful shift coming in the way I eat. One based on mindfulness and intuition, focused more on filling my diet with as much nourishment as I can instead of thinking of terms of what I can or can't have and when. 
M1: turmeric persimmon oats
M2: berries + walnuts
M3: a random fridge cleanout of a few bites of butternut squash chili mixed with turmeric cauli rice + more beans and veggies on top of spinach + avocado
M4: chickpea muffin
M5: pesto baked veggies made by a friend staying with us from Germany!
M6: a slice of vegan almond cake baked by our friend 😋

So I look like a 12-year-old, but I was digging these post-workout big old waves in the gym locker room this morning 💁🏻 the last few days have been so active! I did fit for fall HIIT this morning (I don't know if I was extra tired, but that was no joke 😅) + the daily moves, and then a 45 minute walk in the snow this afternoon.
M1: chocolate protein pancake + PB + berries
M2: latte and a scone during a coffee date with a friend!
M3: a little chili with my avocado 🥑 😂
M4: skipped
M5: roasted veggie salad + creamy garlic dill dressing

Hope everyone had a happy single's awareness day (aka vday for some 😒) But the real big news is that I'm officially going to Korea this summer because thank God I got the research and internship from one of pharmacy school in Seoul 🙏🏻 God has been very gracious for opening every door I knock on! But that being said... now I need to lose 15 pounds before going to Korea so I can blend in people 😂😂 I've started kickboxing with my gorgeous roommate for a new cardio and it's super fun! Hope I can drop some pounds in 3 month! 🙏🏻 한국에선 보기힘든 튼튼한 허벅지 흐규흐규

Prepping some more awesome eggs for the next two days! Triple meat amazingness with ground beef, chicken, and a few breakfast sausages. Also mixed in are french cut green beans, some broccoli and brussel sprouts! Now time to add the eggs and edd whites! Lots of good fats+protein+fiber=keto heaven! 🍳

Each Friday of the #NewYearsChallenge we'll be featuring one of our favorite strength moves for #FitnessFriday! Here's how you do the "balancing squat" in Monday's Power Moves workout. 1. Stand with feet slightly wider than hip-width apart, a dumbbell in each hand. 2. Sit back into a squat, then push through heels to stand and lift right knee to hip level. 3. I've been hesitant to post anything like this but oh well. I have ALWAYS loved fast food and food in general. Food has been my comfort for years and I am so happy to finally be breaking the addiction (seriously). Working out HARD for years and still not being where I wanted to be was extremely frustrating especially because I knew where I was going wrong. I would have my prepped food at home and STILL want to stop at chick fil a on my way home. I had a hard time saying no when temptation was in front of me. I didn't want to miss out on dinners with friends and family. I still don't want to miss out, but I know that a healthier balance is going to pay off in the long run.
