So this was an attempt at a "grrr" face, and I just went with it because it's funny. I'm awkward at fake grumpy faces, lol. I'm awkward at several things.😂 Just a casual endorsement for getting you skin checked out with a dermatologist. Skin is an important organ, too! One a year is all that's necessary for most people.
Yesterday at the dermatologist I got up to hold a door open for an elderly couple. The man was chatting away about how embarrassed and stupid he felt the bandages on his nose were (paraphrasing, of course, since I'm too polite to say the words he actually used 😶). I just laughed, pointed to my own nose telling him I'm a pro already. He told me I was a baby, which compared to his 80 years I am, lol. My response was that I'm just ahead of the game, haha. I told him to tell anyone who asked that
he was in a heroic brawl or he was saving puppies. People love that kind of thing. By the time he left, I had him laughing and calling me sweetheart.
Call me selfish, but I love being able to use what has been a painful journey to reinforce positive and loving actions to help others. In a way, it balances the scale if I can deliberately find ways to use it as a positive driving force instead of succumbing to the obvious negatives. I also realized today how I've accepted my strange life as normal (that I'm okay with) when I was so bizarrely happy that none of the stitches I got yesterday are in my face, because stitches in the face or mouth are actually the worst ever from loads of experience. Haha 😊
