I also wanted to share with you guys these BOMB chocolate hazelnut (get @ me Nutella) ballz I made for the rest of the week ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ super easy- throw everything in your food processor: 1/2 cup hazelnuts, 1/2 cup cashews, one packet @gardenoflife chocolate organic protein powder, 2 dates, a TBSP @88acres chocolate sunflower butter and a splash of @thenewbarn unsweetened almond milk. Roll into balls and toss in @navitasnaturals cacao powder and store in the freezer ๐ŸŽ‰ they're addicting- be careful ๐Ÿ˜›

Had such a fun time creating this video and answering some questions over on @karamaco's blog. Their theme this month has been 'self care' and they asked if I could share a video of my morning stretching routine. This is a quick and easy set of movements that I use to help me start my day off right, and it's also great as a cool-down after an intense workout!

My heart melted and then I was like, wait what on earth is he talking about?!๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฌTurns out there was an artist that came to their school and was teaching them how to draw the light (or twinkle) that hits your eye. Ahhhh now that makes sense.๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ˜Anyway, do you see the love sparkle in my smoothie bowl? I made it just for you๐Ÿ’›โœจ! Smoothie bowl deets below: . . 1/2 cup @berripro dragon fruit electrolyte water 1 frozen banana 1 T coconut oil 1 frozen banana 1/2 frozen Zucchini 1/2 cup frozen cherries 1 scoop @vitalproteins 1 T @mrm_usa beet powder Toppings- raspberries, blubs, @manitobaharvest hemp seeds, bee pollen, coconut flakes, tahini drizzle and @salbachia soaked in @thenewbarn almond milk for 15 mins. Smoothie bowl inspired by the amazingly talented @anettvelsberg whose page is more than just smoothie bowls. She is one of my favorite bloggers/healthy food enthusiasts/photographers in this space. Y'all.. I'm so sorry I have been quiet lately on my social media. Can I just be real? I talked a little bit about it on Friday, but I have been struggling to balance life as a SAHM, wife and trying to start a business of helping and serving others. I abbbbssolutely LOVE what I get to do everyday, but I just haven't been doing a great job of prioritizing my time. I have been overthinking and making things harder than they have to be. I am working on improving and I know in order to make changes, I have to first start with ME.

Because I can't have the #shroomami bowl at @sweetgreen everyday (obsessed!), I took a stab at my own version. Steamed Tuscan kale + #umami mushrooms + roasted purple sweet potatoes + cashews + sesame tofu crumbles + @seedsofchange_us organic garlic quinoa and brown rice + miso ginger dressing. Shroomami will always be my number one bae but these homemade warm bowls have definitely helped to alleviate my #sweetgreen cravings when I can't make it there. #detox #salads #kaleyeah #plantpowered #eatclean #nourish #eatrealfood #seedsofchange

Was so nice to come home to all these pre-cooked goodies last night after class! Am I the only one who thinks roasted veg taste just as good cold as they do straight out of the oven ๐Ÿ™Š?! // In this bowl: roasted butternut squash + golden beets, pan fried tofu, sautรฉed lacinato kale + half an avooo ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅ‘. To roast the veg: peel + cube butternut squash + beets, lightly toss in olive oil, garlic powder + herbamare (or salt). Place on lined baking sheet or casserole dish + put in oven at 400F for 35-45 mins. For the tofu: drain + cube extra firm tofu. Over medium heat, toss tofu with @chosenfoods avocado oil spray, garlic powder, salt + pepper until crispy. Kale: shred into small pieces + cook the same way as tofu until kale has wilted!

My cousin @alexaflexa is an absolute gem and I can acknowledge that without letting it detract from how I feel about myself. You see, comparison is this sick trap we get stuck in that does nothing except make us feel less or bring negativity into the picture. We fail to realize that we can appreciate someone else's beauty and still know we are beautiful too.
