Greetings from Colorado where I'm freezing my ass off! I brought along an entire suitcase of food and snacks, which seemed like overkill but which was actually the best decision ever! (You can check out some of the stuff I brought along in previous post). Here is one of my early creations- perfect for Sunday morning brunch! Plus it's so simple- broil a grapefruit with banana slices on top about 10 minutes. Then dollop with coconut yogurt and sprinkle with homemade granola. Because we're in a brand new year, I thought it might be a good time to reintroduce myself to all of you, as I realize that more than half of you amazing and loyal followers don't even know what I "do"! // So I thought I would share with you what my daily life looks like... I'm a holistic nutritionist/health coach & run my business & lifestyle brand, Sweet & Free Life (hence the hashtag, and you're welcome to use it😉)! I work with clients all around the world, working with them online! {I'll have some room for new clients soon, so keep an eye out for that post!} // I'm also the co-founder to the @DIYcleanse! We like to describe it as the cleanse for people that hate cleansing! It has been such an incredible experience growing that community & business with my fabulous biz partner, Emily! Together we also created a life changing Group Wellness Program called Food Freedom!! It’s difficult to overstate the importance of sleep to increasing your emotional intelligence and managing your stress levels. When you sleep, your brain literally recharges, shuffling through the day’s memories and storing or discarding them (which causes dreams) so that you wake up alert and clearheaded. Studies show that sleep-deprived people fail to recall pleasant memories, yet seem to recall gloomy memories. Moral of the story? High-EQ individuals know that their self-control, attention, and memory are all reduced when they don’t get enough–or the right kind–of sleep.  So, they make sleep a top priority.
